Toyota Recalls 437,000 Hybrid Vehicles Due to Braking Glitch

If you’re one of many greenies who recently purchased a target="_blank" href="http://www.inhabitat.com/2008/10/21/first-pictures-of-the-2010-prius-confirmed/">2010 Toyota Prius, turn that ride right around. The Japanese company has just target="_blank" href="http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/10/business/global/10recall.html?hp"> announced that it’s recalling 437,000 of its hybrid cars because of a braking system glitch. target="_blank" href="http://www.toyota.com/">The company says that the recall applies to 223,000 Japanese vehicles, 155,000 American vehicles and 53,000 European cars.
