COTN’s US Board of Directors Expands

California pastor Matt Hammett, art educator Bonnie Steele, and marketing consultant Jackie Lang don’t live in the same community.  They don’t attend the same church, send their children to the same school, or vacation in the same area.  However Matt, Bonnie, and Jackie all have something in common: they all believe in what God is doing through Children of the Nations (COTN).  Their passion is so strong that all three of them recently agreed to become the newest members of COTN–USA’s Board of Directors.

About eight years ago, Matt Hammett, who is the pastor of Flood Church in San Diego, California, was invited to speak by one of COTN’s partners, ABC Bible College in Malawi.  He witnessed the ministry of COTN while there, and Flood Church has been involved  ever since—sending Venture Teams, sponsoring children, mobilizing summer interns, and helping COTN get started in northern Uganda.  “We felt like our opportunity to make the biggest difference was by partnering with COTN,” Matt says.
