Thinking a lot about kids today. During last night's devotions we prayed for a family member who had had a heart attack. We tried to explain "MI" as best we could. The boys prayed; "God, make the blood flow to the heart again." Pretty straightforward, but I'm thinking that's how God would want it.
In church last week I was helping on the worship team again. It's nice because I'm learning french worship songs, but also because it's possible to see the congregation worshiping. Up front was a grandmother standing close behind a young girl about Tony's age (5ish?) singing in her ear and explaining the songs. It was a moving reminder that we are in the process of leaving a legacy for our kids — all the things we do through the day.
